About
Yogi |Dog mom| Lover of People, Nature & Philosophy
I started my career in sales and account management, where I learned various techniques to engage people, see opportunities and find solutions to their problems with products and services I managed. 10 years later I discovered my thirst for understanding how systems worked, enhancing process flows and learning how to leverage technology for efficiency was the field of UX/product design
Design Values
Designing can be a radical way of putting a mirror to what we feel, see and experience as a collective. I design through a framework of :
Empathy
My mindfulness practice and study of Zen teachings allow me to see beyond my own perspective and design with compassion for overlooked populations and experiences. Practicing detachment helps me create solutions that serve users as they are, not as I assume them to be.

Inclusivity
I constantly ask, “Who is missing from this conversation?” Growing up navigating two worlds—Spanish and English—taught me the power of access and representation. From designing tech training for seniors to crafting yoga sequences for all bodies, inclusivity isn’t just a checkbox; it’s the foundation for every experience I design.
Read more about how I view inclusivity as a necessity for the future of design and technology in this blog post.
Data Informed, intiution led thought processes
Data tells us what’s happening; intuition helps us ask why. I thrive at translating research into stories that reveal deeper insights, blending information from diverse topics and lived experiences to uncover what others might miss. This balance lets me craft designs that are both evidence-based and human-centered.
