Recent Work
In every project I take on, I lead with empathy, curiosity, and a human-centered mindset. My work is rooted in mindful design that prioritizes accessibility, clarity, and meaningful impact. Below is a curated portfolio of case studies that showcase how my practice evolves across different challenges and platforms—from mental health to e-commerce. Each project built on the one before it, shaping the kind of designer I am today.
My journey began with a deep dive into stress, solitude, and digital mindfulness. Through surveys and research, I designed a concept app that met users where they are: in the scroll. This project taught me the importance of behavior-driven design and how small, intentional features can create big emotional impact.
From systems thinking to visual accessibility, I conducted a full audit and low-fidelity redesign for a legacy juice brand. I identified serious navigation and contrast issues and proposed solutions rooted in usability and brand alignment. This helped me hone my skills in user testing, accessibility, and design storytelling.
Bringing it all together, I co-created a fully scoped capstone product for joyful living. With archetype quizzes, vision boards, and calendar syncing, Aventi is where accessibility meets social connection. This final project reflected my growth from researcher to strategic product designer.
The next phase took me into the world of information overload and bias in media. Inspired by real user pain points like “headline anxiety,” I created a system that reimagines the way we absorb news. This architecture exercise emphasized the power of taxonomy, bias dashboards, and ethical design.
In this exercise, I explored card sorting, personalization, and category hierarchy to improve navigation for online furniture buyers. What I learned here strengthened my ability to structure user-centered IA at scale.
What’s New?
Lately, I’ve been diving into some exciting new projects that expand how I think about human-centered design. I’m currently consulting with a startup to develop a business partnership vertical—helping small service-based businesses receive high-quality leads through a thoughtfully designed app experience. I’m also building strategy for engaging Spanish-speaking consumers and making digital experiences more inclusive.
In addition to that, I’ve been supporting research teams with interview planning and synthesis to uncover actionable insights that shape better products.
Curious about what I’m learning along the way? I reflect on these experiences (plus the books and podcasts fueling my growth) over on my blog. Check it out to follow the journey.
